This can make it easier to stay on track.

  2. Come prepared: Before your appointment, take some time to gather any relevant financial information, such as your budget, investment statements, and tax documents. You should also write down what makes you feel anxious, what makes you feel secure, and any short or long-term financial goals you may have. Be clear on your financial goals and what you hope to accomplish in your meeting with your advisor.
