Happy New Year!

Most people start their New Year’s resolutions at this time, so this is a reminder that repetition is key to achieving your goals.

This quote, often attributed to Aristotle, emphasizes the impact of our daily habits. It’s not about our intentions, dreams, or plans. It's about our actions. We become what we invest our time and energy into doing.

Excellence is not an act, but a habit.

Even if you stumble or mess up, it's not the end. Keep working on your resolutions or goals. Build your habit. The aim is to succeed more often than you stumble. Continue your repetition, and you'll find more success than failures.

21 days to build a habit.

I love the intentional movement charts that encourage 30 days of deliberate activity for a healthier you. What I appreciate about them is that missing a day or two or seven doesn't mean failure. You can always pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. Even if a 30-day chart takes you 60 days, it’s okay, because you are still moving. The same principle can apply to our finances. We all make mistakes and face setbacks, but the key is to set goals and consistently work towards them. If you stumble or miss a day or two or even seven, just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. The more you do, the easier it will get. Your habit will form.
